We are delighted that the new Pre-Prep at Monkton Combe School, Bath, is now complete.

The building, designed by squiresandbrown sits on a challenging site with significant structural, planning and ecological issues. Part of the site lies within the Green Belt and is home to an established community of badgers and a nationally important colony of bats, protected under European law.

The scheme includes a nursery, new classrooms, home economics room, function room and a multi-activity hall.

A key feature of the building is the central courtyard garden which allows free flowing access for all EYFS pupils into a safe, protected and fun external classroom.
